Upstairs:
- 2 bedrooms each with en-suite shower room. I with double bed (6 foot nine inches long), one with twin beds.
- Balcony overlooking woods accessed from each bedroom. Complete with patio table and chairs for two.
Downstairs:
- Lounge with patio doors facing woodland (deer seen browsing). Patio includes picnic table
- Kitchen/dining room
- Cloakroom with toilet
- Services include LPG, CH, parking for two cars adjacent to cottage,
Sky TV, DVD, CD cassette radio, piano (tuned regularly), gas cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, food steamer for cooker, hand juicer. All power and fuel is included. Ecover Cleaning products are supplied for use.
Where possible, thought has been given to reducing exposure to chemicals. Ecological paints have been used throughout. Ceramic tiles have been used downstairs, and lino (Marmoleum) upstairs. The duvets are hypoallergenic, though woollen blankets are available.
The kitchen has been equipped to assist those who maintain a living foods diet.
Residents have access to 12 acres of woodland.
(Please note that bed linen, towels and tea towels are not provided as it is not possible to guarantee they would be non-allergenic.)
The HEP is delighted to offer the opportunity to stay in a holiday home near Umberleigh in Mid/North Devon, close to the Tarka railway line. It is within easy reach of the market towns of Barnstaple, South Molton and Great Torrington, and the North Devon coastline with its excellent walks and surfing beaches.
